Lab 8- This is my example of the close-up shot.I shot this on manual mode with auto focus. I had to stand away from the subject and zoom into it to make sure it was in focus. The flower is up close by also in focus. For this photo I shot it in auto focus and again on manual mode. This was my version of the example given where there was little or no contrast between the subject and the background. This is shown in my photograph because the colour of the wall is the same as Sophies top. This photo was my version of the example given that showed the background objects that appear larger than the subject. This is shown in my photo because the subject is smaller than the buildings.

Lab 5 - Composition Exercise Image 1- I took this photograph because of the leading lines in the shot. The leading line through the centre makes your eye follow it until the vanishing point, I like this photograph. Image 2-  This photograph works well because of the vertical lines contained in it.They make your eye go upwards, and lets you take in the whole image together, also the building on the right is the focus of this photograph. The eye looks at the building first. Image 3- While taking this photograph I as trying to get the birds and high rise structure in the foreground and the other in the background on the right. I tried to create a balance in this photo which was easy on the eye. Image 4- This was my example for horizontal lines in a photograph. I like it because there is symmetry and the lines work well together.
